My father says that if I’m caught with a full compressed air tank with my paintball gun pieces on public transportation, I can get in huge trouble maybe even arrested. Is that true? And is there a waiver type form that my parents can sign that allows me to carry it?
No its not illegal or unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend having the air tank screwed in to the gun just because that makes it look a lot more like your about to shoot some pedestrians. And i would put them into a duffel bag or something so people don’t know you have a paintball gun with you, again not illegal but a lot of people frown upon people with paintball guns because the only time there used to seeing them is punk kids terrorizing the neighborhood. We all have to drive somehow with our gear to paintball fields and its no more dangerous on a bus then in a car. However all privately owned companies have the right to limit what can be transported in their vehicles, meaning you should ask the driver or at least look it up if its cool to take your paintball gear with you.
