What are some of the best PAINTBALL guns out there?

So, i’m looking to get my husband a paintball gun for his birthday this month. I’ve done some research but still am not sure which kind of gun to get for him. He’s always wanted Angel’s and now he’s looking at Ion’s. But so many of them are pricey. I’ve checked on Ebay also and am thinking of purchasing one off of there. Any advice on good but NOT SO EXPENSIVE paintball guns? Should I go with Ion’s or Angels and WHY?
Ive had my angel for 2 years now and never have had any major problems out of it. The cheaper the gun the lower the quality . Ive never had and Ion but I have some friends that do any they are pretty comprable to each other on basic aspects. A decent gun should run you between 1,000 to 1,500 american…..as a spectrum range….and if hes looking at angels and Ions dont buy him anything thats not Nitrus compatable…..DONT BUY IT FROM A SUPERSTORE go to field and feel them out….btw if hes lookin at a angel or ion dont settle for a tippman or spyder

sorry i am not able to help with the brands but my kids just got some for christmas that my parents gave to them and i will give you a tip about them so you dont have the trouble i am having now….be sure that the co2 cartridge or tank is not too powerful for the gun….we got my kids the refillable ones (cause its cheaper than buying a new one everytime) but they are too powerful for the gun and literally blew one of the guns apart from the inside out….good luck and btw these guns cost about $120 apiece

get him an ION. they are cheap but good guns. the need an air tank, not co2, so that raises the price.a bit. you can get full packeges on ebay of like $350
